Omaha!

Photobucket

Omaha, Nebraska.

This is where we will be spending our summer. From April to August we will be selling pest control, once again. Surprisingly, I am really excited for this summer! Selling this summer means: sleeping in, good money and lots of time with J! Haha but honestly it's a really good opportunity for us because we both have summer jobs and we get to spend a lot of time together. I am already sick of Idaho. It is so cold here and some days I can't handle it! I want to do things outside so bad but making it from the house to the car is torture! Anyway life is good for us. My mom is coming to visit next weekend! woo hoo! Cheers for now!

Our first Christmas!

WOW. I haven't posted forever! We have been busy moving, working and starting school up again. Our Christmas break was amazing! We spent Christmas In Twin Falls this year with The Loars! We spent our time relaxing, watching movies and playing lots of games, which is totally my style! We are so blessed to have two awesome families to spend holidays with.

So for Christmas this year I got...drum roll please...

A SEWING MACHINE. yep.

We both received tons of presents but the sewing machine takes the cake for me. As soon as I got it, I dove in and starting sewing!! I love sewing and I am excited to have a machine of my own. Justin got all kinds of stuff including: a new electric razor and an xbox controller. It was a really special Christmas with lots of time to reflect and re dedicate our lives to the Savior.

Oh and its 2011? Already! Well, 2010 was probably the best year of my life, so far, for obvious reasons. I got to marry J and start our life together:) Justin and I made some goals for this year, which is exciting because I love making goals! We spent our New Years in Boise with some more Loars, which was SO much fun! We moved to Idaho falls until April because we are both working here. Justin is going to school full time and I am going part-time. We are both off-track from school but we are taking night and online classes so that we can graduate earlier! I have 2 semesters left and J has...oh a few more than that :)

Today...

Today is one of those days where I can't stop counting my blessings. I feel so grateful for everything Heavenly Father has blessed me with this year! As the year comes to an end I look back and feel overwhelmed with everything Justin and I have been blessed with. Finals are stressful and finances are frustrating but every time we pay our tithing I know everything is going to be alright :) I have never been happier and apparently today is just one of those days where it hits you...life is really good.

p.s. Amy Butler has wallpaper? I'm in love.

The Break

The Thanksgiving break was amazing. I was so glad we got to be in California, where it was warm! We had so much fun and did so many things but here are some of the highlights:

-Driving through the night and surprising Jules (classic)
-Fourthmeal every night
-Black Friday shopping (we did SO much work)
-Thanksgiving dinner, of course
-Giving Nala and Rusty a bath one day
-Knotts Berry Farm with all the cousins
-LA fabric district with my momma
-Watching Nate play hockey
-Seeing Allie and David (love them)
-Having fires in the fireplace and watching Elf
-Eating at in-n-out 3 times in one week
-Texas hold em night for the boys

And those are just the highlights...

We were very sad to leave and come back to the North Pole. Seriously though. Rexburg is like the North pole right now. It's freezing and it snows everyday! Lovely. Anyway I am looking forward to finals week BECAUSE my family and Justin's family are coming to Rexburg! Long story short...my car needed some fixing and it didn't get done in time when we were in California SO I took my mom's car up here and she has my car down in California. They are coming up to switch cars with me and pick up caroline from school. Justin's family is coming to help all of us move! I am so excited for everyone to be here for Justin's birthday! Only 2 more weeks and the semester is over. yay! Christmas is just around the corner and i've put up a few decorations. I don't have a lot..we are poor and I'm just starting out my collection!
