our life lately

Hudson and I have spent some time in California with my family. He has loved all of the attention from family and friends. Gosh, why can't all my family and all of my friends live in one city? K thanks. Haha never gonna happen but it would be nice. Where ever I am, I always miss somebody. Anyway, life is good.

Crib

Somebody graduated from his cradle to a big boy crib and Mom isn't very happy about it. He was getting too big for the cradle and I knew we had to get a crib but whyyyyyyyyyyy! I want him to stay little forever. I never thought I would be one of those Moms. I told myself I would embrace every stage and love it as he gets bigger and I do but it needs to SLOW DOWN. Okay, none of this makes sense. I love that he is learning new things and getting bigger but I am sad because he is my BABY! Gosh I love being a Mom.

Dippin

On Memorial Day we decided to dip Hudson's toes in the pool haha! The water was pretty cold so we didn't want to take him all the way in. His reaction was priceless. Shock and then wonder. He was so curious and cute! I can't wait to take him all the way in the pool. I know he is going to be a water baby.

This 3 month old boy

Alright, lets talk about this 3 month old boy. I don't think he could get any sweeter. He is such a happy baby. I don't have any other babies to compare him too but man he is happy! He is really getting a little personality and I'm thinking he really knows who I am now. Oh and he loves Daddy's voice??? Haha honestly if Justin is across the room talking he will do anything and everything to look his way. It's so cute. He has kind of rolled over and he is getting really good at tummy time. It usually lasts about 10 minutes but he holds his head up pretty well. He is VERY vocal and will literally have a conversation with you. He is 3 months old and has already been on 3 plane rides! He is sleeping 8.5 hours a night on average and is still kind of a cat napper haha. I am trying to break him of this but he loves to take like 4 or 5 little naps during the day. I don't mind it but I do want to get him down to 2 naps and longer sleeping at night...and I know that will come eventually. Overall, he is pretty dang easy. Gosh, I love him.

Disneyland!

I took Hudson to Disneyland on my birthday. It was SO much fun!!!! He isn't quite old enough to know what's going on but I had a blast haha. I took him on small world, the little mermaid, and a few others. We stayed all day and he was a little angel baby. I can't wait to take him back this fall :)
