SO yesterday was ROUGH!!! I got a call at 7:00 in the morning from my mom, in California, telling me that our family dog got hit by a car in the middle of the night. I immedietly started crying and I couldn't even pull myself together to get to class in time! Our dog, Rusty, has been in the family forever! I picked him out personally when I was a little girl. It's hard for people to understand how much this dog meant to our family. We are dog people and we have had lots of dogs but Rusty has stayed with us through everything. Apparently he broke through the fence in our backyard and tried chasing after some coyotes. Rusty will be VERY, VERY missed in our family.
Oh and a side note: Rusty was very popular. Everyone who met him just fell in love with him so kinda as a joke my siblings made Rusty a facebook. It was hilarious! He got more comments than I ever got :)
Last time we were home, We all gave Rusty a bath. He hated baths so it was hilarious to see him freak out!
Oh, and i'm still doing the photo challenge! J took a picture of my hands a few minutes ago. I just barely got back from the ceramics studio so my hands are SUPER dry, cracking and my nails have clay in them haha. lovely.
SOOOOO happy it's Friday :)
Awww, I'm so sorry to hear about your dog!!! My dogs have facebooks and they're listed as my children :) lol
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry, love! I know how difficult losing a pet can be, because they're not a pet, they're a part of your family. Rusty was a handsome pup, those dogs are my husbands very favorite. I'm so, so sorry for your loss!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry :( I would be very upset too and would be late to class or skip it... Rusty was a gorgeous dog! I hope you feel better soon. :( And way to go on keeping up on the challenge!!!

ReplyDeleteyou are surly going through many emotions right now and i'm very, very sorry about this happening to your Rusty. when our fur babies are gone from our lives, well, it's one of the hardest things i've ever gone through but i've never experienced something so horrific and shocking as a perfectly healthy one being taken like you have.
i can only imagine the gutted feeling and hope you will be alright. he was obviously so loved and revered by you all, that in itself is something so special. many blessings to you and your family during this time. ♥
