graduation

Happy Memorial Day! We spent the weekend in Twin Falls, Idaho with the Loar clan. It was a blast, as always! Justin's littler sister graduated from high school so we went down to celebrate! The weather was pretty crummy all weekend but we partied anyway.

I keep playing around with my header when I have a spare minute but I don't like anything I am coming up with. I will think of something cute, eventually! I just don't have time to sit down and do it. School is nuts right now! Only 7 weeks until the semester is over and I can't wait! I'm thinking we should go camping this weekend. Ya? Ya?

J and I had some deliciousness for dessert tonight. It's oh so simple but oh so good.

1 8oz cream cheese
3/4 c. marshmallow cream
1 c. strawberry yogurt

Blend and chill in refrigerator.

I've tried many versions of this fruit dip and this one hit the spot. Serve with strawberries or pineapple or whatever sounds good to you! Enjoy :)

The Love Shack!

Here are a few pictures of our apartment. [for you, Mom] I didn't take a picture of the kitchen because it's boring. It has oak cabinets and white walls. ew. They are just random pictures but you can kinda get a sense of the place!I don't know if you can tell in the pictures but the wall behind the T.V is green. haha so random!






Oh, and just a little side note! We have a bed!! This is a big deal because we have never had a bed before. Our first year of marriage was spent sleeping on the floor haha. Ghetto! But really we had a mattress and it was on the floor. My in-laws decided to give us a bed a few weeks ago. We we're SO excited!! Oh, AND don't mind our 70's looking D.I. chair. Gotta love being poor students!

crazy!

There is one word to describe last week: CRAZY! First of all, J and I got a call around midnight on Tuesday and it was my cousin's husband, Jordan! He said they were at the hospital because Cassie had fractured her ankle :( So we went over that night so J could help give her a blessing. THEN around 4:30 AM we got a text and my sister-in-law had her baby! This meant that ALL the family came into town and it was NUTS! We had people sleeping at our house every night. Not to mention we had the normal everyday life stuff going on! Lots of homework, and projects. On Friday we found the time and went to the temple with Cassie and Jordan. Ahh bliss. We did sealings, which I love because it always reminds me of my wedding day and the covenants I made on that day. It was a nice contrast from such a crazy week. Anywho this week looks like more craziness, so I should get on that haha. Until next time :)

Oh, and in one of my classes we make books. Literally. It's a book arts class and we make books.Be jealous because it's so much fun! Last week I made a series of little stab books and they are sewn together by hand!

Auntie Megan

Today at 5:30 this morning I became an AUNT! This is a big deal because I have never been an aunt before! My sister-in-law texted me at 4:30 this morning and said she was in labor and she was going to start pushing. Yep, you heard right. It took 45 minutes and he was here! So fast and so lucky!! Anyway, In the midst of my sleepiness, I yelled "She's in labor, she's in labor." Justin is super jumpy so he sat up and was looking around super panicky (is that a word?). I swear he thought I said I was in labor! After school we went over to the hospital to see the little guy. Did I mention he is only 5 lbs 11 oz. Um talk about tiny baby! I am in love. He is so precious and I can't wait until he calls me Auntie Megan! Oh and little Aiden graced us with his presence 2 and a half weeks early! Love him!

Remember that time I TRIED printing off coupons and I have no idea what I'm doing. Yep, that's me. I don't understand them. I feel like I am reading another language! Ugh!

Also, J is in Utah tonight. I am such a lonely housewife boo hoo. I should be doing homework but I'm trying to master coupons. Wish me luck people! Oh and on a happier note, I met with one of my professors today. We talked about the time when I leave the comforts of BYU-Idaho. (scary) I will be working and under a lot of pressure to produce good design. I have decided to throw myself into it and really emerge myself in the industry. I will share some of my designs along the way. I hope this helps prepare me for the real world. Graduation is just 7 months away. It seems likes forever right now but I know it will fly by!

Alright people- this blog just got SO much better! Why? Oh because I just got this bad boy!

It's a Cannon Rebel Xsi and it's beautiful! I am still learning to use it and I can't wait to be able to take some good quality pictures yay!

I took like 20 pictures of Justin. Yano- just trying to get used to the camera. He stopped looking at the camera around picture # 4. haha!

22 people!

On Monday it was my 22nd birthday and it was a good one! All morning I stressed about school and trying to get a project printed. Once school was over, Husband took me to Texas Roadhouse. It was divine! After dinner we had family and friends over for cake. My sister-in-law Heather made me a cake. Love her! After cake we red boxed it up and cuddled the night away! haha Apparently, something should be coming in the mail any day now...! I will share once it arrives. On Friday it is my cousin, Cassie's Birthday. We were born four days apart and we grew up down the street from each other. So naturally we had a combined baptism, combined 16th birthday party, we were roommates in college for 2.5 years. I think you get the picture. SO on Friday we are having a combined bbq for our birthdays! Yay! I will share pictures later.

Happy Friday to all! This weekend could not have come faster. School is rough lately but were pluggin along! I think tonight we will rent a redbox and get in the jacuzzi. Sounds like a partyyy!! Have a good weekend :)

Oh and don't mind the massive cold sore on my lip. Like I said, it's been rough. haha.

HELP!

Oh today is a happy day! My car said it was 63 degrees. YIPEE! One day we will live in California and one day we will be forever warm but until then I will continue to get really excited when it is 60 degrees. Of course there was a little hiccup in the weather last week. It snowed. But I feel like we're back on track now :) School is outrageous these days. I chose to take three studio classes at one time. If you don't know what that means, it means death. Those classes are pretty much meant to take one at a time but a girl has to graduate right? Anyway my birthday is one week from today and I want a camera. I want a nice camera that has manual settings but it doesn't have to be fancy. I'm not going to be starting a photography business or anything I just want to take GOOD pictures. Any suggestions? PLEASE?
