This is what fall looks like...
So this is what fall looks like in our neck of the woods. I am going to miss having four seasons. Wow. Did I just say that? Yep, I will honestly miss the four seasons...minus winter a little bit. Growing up we mainly had one season...all year around and it never bothered me. I loved growing up in Southern California and I never knew that I was missing anything until I moved away and experienced the seasons. I love when the temperature drops a little and the trees turn colors. It's fun! BUT I will take one season if it means no winter. Sorry but the winters I have experienced have been brutal. Go ahead- look up the yearly averages in Rexburg, Idaho during the months of November to April. mmmhmmm. So all in all, the seasons are beautiful. I am enjoying them for the last time :)

Do us all a favor and don't crash, mmkay? That aside, these pics are lovely. And I truly envy you leaving the horrible winters. Rexburg gets it MUCH worse than down here in good ol' SLC but still. I grew up in this snow and I'm just beginning to emerge from the "snow is MAGICAL" phase to the "snow HURTS!" phase and it's painful. Don't know if I'll last another winter.

Same thing here! I grew up in the NW, and in every season there was A LOT of rain. Which i love :) That's all I knew, but when I went to Rexburg and enjoyed a much drier fall with lots of blue sky it was such an eye opener!! :) The snow and sub-zero temperatures though...*shiver* oh I don't miss that. But hey, makes us appreciate good weather even more right??

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. I grew up in Orange County and didn't know what I was missing with the seasons til I went to BYU Provo. I loved fall there! Now we're back in So Cal and it's great, but I miss the seasons. Good thing my in-laws are still in Utah!
