Lately J and I have been in kind of a rut. We are just plugging along with school and getting ready to move in December! I feel like we are kind of in limbo because all of our immediate family has moved away from Rexburg and we're kind of lonely. My cousin, miss Cassandra and her husband are here but they work all the time- boo! We have some friends, don't get me wrong but there is something special about living close to family. We find ourselves hanging around and talking a lot. Part of me wants these next 6 weeks to fly by and the other part of me wants to cherish this time with J. After this semester, I am a working woman and J is still a student...for quite some time. While we are both students, we hang out and spend every minute outside of class together. I love it! I'm so glad we got married while we were both in school. It sounds crazy but it was fun! We are poor and far from home but it's been a good experience for us. We have grown a lot and looking back, I wouldn't trade that time for anything. Welp, enough with my sappy stories. I am here to say goodbye to fall. It may linger in some states but over here in Idaho- winter is settling in.
Ny nephew was a monkey for Halloween. I DIED when I saw this picture!
We have been doing a lot of skyping lately with my family and Justin's. Oh and did I mention, my parents are going to Hawaii tomorrow. Just for fun. My little sister goes to school in Hawaii so they are going to hang out and see her. I am so flippin jealous. The end.
Yes! Let it linger! You will miss it! Where are you guys moving come December? Congrats on graduating! Woo! :)
ReplyDeleteOh I know how the rut feels, I'm still trying to figure out how to get out of the slump I swear I've been in forever. Good luck dear!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness. I could use a hawaii trip right about now... I know howyou feel with living away from family. :P No fun. These photos are gorgeous though!
ReplyDeleteTotally understand that rut! We went through that about a year and a half ago!
ReplyDeleteIs it snowing up there yet? We're having our first snow fall as I'm typing this comment! AH!
I wish I was headed to Hawaii tomorrow! Lucky parents have all the fun (;
ReplyDeletei know how you feel!! while I feel so blessed to live so close to my in-laws (they're awesome:) I miss my family (we're all spread out in different states). But it does make the times we're together even sweeter! And December is right around the corner :)
ReplyDeleteand about getting married in college, I think that's awesome that you wouldn't have it any other way :) You & Just have got to be having a blast up there :) Our plan was to go back to school after getting married, but Adam was offered a job and we felt it was best to stay in Utah and go that route. It has been wonderful, but i still wish we could've experienced the married college life. And I'm hoping that we get back to BYUI to have Adam finish within the next couple of years. :)
and oh hawaii sounds niiiiiiiiiiicce right about now :)
I love this! :] And I love that we got married while we were still in school too. We're definitely poor but the time together makes it all so worth it!!
